This question is actually related to a specific panel which is formated to be most readable in 1280x1024 resolution.  Specifically the Fanda Dash 8 panel by Oleksiy Frolov.  Due to the processing that panel needs to do because of the systems replication represented it is a frame hogging panel and I can only get better than 24 fps on 800x600 res.  The penalty is that I cn read nothing of the gauges or labeling unless the tool tips show me.  What determines the best resolution for a panel and how is it possible to change it and still keep the panel usable???
Thanks

Without trying this panel myself I don't understand the problem. The resolution of the main panel BMP is not usually that important. Most panels will display in any screen resolution these days. You might try my suggestion in your other topic on this subject.
