A small update on the Spitfire project,
The gunsight mounted ( this was taken before i had received the Beamsplitter glass)
This is the frame for the pilots B/P winscreen, this is fabricated from 19 parts, unlike the original which was a casting

I will be using Rowans BoB to run in the sim, as this is open source code it has all the potential needed to run the spitfire cockpit. I know there were no MkV's in the BoB but you have to take what information you can get, and with the news that a new version of BoB is in the making from the BDG group, things can only get better.

Another space on the instrument panel has been filled, i mounted the altimeter to the BFP this morning, there are still some spaces to fill in, but it's getting there.

Below is the modification used to drive the artifical horizon via two servos. it has been tested and works well

A progress update on the AH mod, here are a couple of short movies of the AH working.

The first movie is start up, the air supply being turned on and the AH centering its self

The second movie shows the AH being rotated past the stops
