That's a view I think I've heard from many at simV, including myself. There was a thread of a Q 747 blowing up with crash effects that wasn't taken too nicely a while back. No problem, just don't get in the habit.

Now THAT wasn't nice
this was intended purely in fun and now I've seen the sort of stuff here I realize it was obviously in the wrong part of the forum....

Personally i have no problem with that pic, it is after all a simulation, so no-one was injured
also it highlights a bug in FS that is quite amusing to see in itself
someone needs to practice their landings...
lol jokin'

The landing wasn't really that bad..just that the runway was soooo damned NARROW

Hmm.. I haven't been around this forum for that long so I don't want to step on any accepted courtesies.. but it seems a little childish to informally ban crash pictures.. It's a simulation - it's a game - and it seems ridiculous to suggest or imply that anyone is condoning crashing an airliner..
My thoughts - I guess I'll get some flak for that but so be it.

Granted, Chris. But after 9/11, everything you say and do must be very careful... I know no harm was ment in the picture, but you really never know...

9/11 was real.. this is FS.. "as real as it gets" but not real life, its true you do have to be careful, but the images does not show a/c hitting building, or hint at terrorist activity etc....
Fair point, but streched a bit, especially for that pic is my opinion.

Flyboy - I see your point, those things can certainly offend people or possibly lead to misunderstandings - I'll keep it in mind.
