Hi!

I recently repainted a freeware VC-10, i changed the BA- livery to "old- Lufthansa". Well, Every time i started a flight with my repainted Aircraft, the sim crashed after 30 minutes or so....I did a Virus check a week later and found some suspicious files. Now, my first question: Do you think the sim crashed because of the repaint (sounds silly but maybe the sim runs unstable after changin sth by the wrong way, i dont know....) or because of this files?
I didn´t try it again so far, cause i lost any ambition to start a flight just to see the desktop after 30 minutes of flyin without knowin what went wrong.....

ah yeah, my second question: I repainted this Aircraft without the permission of the author, i don´t offer it for money anyway.....I just did it for myself, for no-one else. Now, would that be okay if i show some screenshots or go public with that repaint (without earning money with it, of course!)???  Or must i have the permission of the Author for that kinda things?

thank you all for answering!

Cheers all

that was a very informative post/ answer by me, Mr. Ray_Ban, and i send greetz with it, of course!!!

Hey Ray,

If you want to go public with the repaint (Upload, post screenshots and etc...) it would be better to contact the author beforehand Smiley
