Hi-  I am having the same problem with a couple of add-ons.  I tried render_3d_window=1 and it did not work.  I still get the black scenery out of the window.  I have the R-5D (DC-4) and a Volpar Turbo 18 and it doesn't work for either of them.

If you give me a link to the pages these files are posted on I'll check them out. I don't have the time to go searching round for this stuff & might choose the wrong one. This would be no help to anybody.

The render_3d_window=1 line is for one particular problem & won't fix others. Please read my Panel Clinic carefully. I've tried to cover the most common problems & the fixes for them. Check Combatfs.cfg for the PANEL_MASKING_OFF=0  line first.
