My parents actualy owned 2 of em' a 1980 and then an 84 citation, both of em 4 door sedans with the 2.5 L 4 banger... I can attest that it will do over 100 mph, but I sure don't reccomend it

I am still driving it, my little Opel Astra ( or Vauxhall Astra for our British Friends...
)
It's loud, a bit sluggish, but will do a comfortable 140 km/h ( don't tell anyone
)on the speedway without a problem... and tops 175 km/h ( In Germany offcourse...)
1.7 TD ( 70 hp
and quite a heavy weight, but a diesel!)
I'm quite fond of the thing.
But i wouls swap for a Austion Martin DB9 in NO TIME... Anyone? ...

You'll only get 155mph out of one hired over there. Hire something unregulated from elsewhere if you want to have some real fun.

Please not. We've got enough idiots here confusing the autobahn with a racetrack.

First Proper i.e. rear wheel drive, car I drove was a 1979 reg Escort RS2000 Mk2 I've always wanted one alas, never owned one.
