LET your mind rest easy, but that is not a flyable airplane, since we all know that bumble-bees cannot fly, and we can probably come up with more than 37 reasons why.

I think I have a (very poor) shot of it in the air to prove conclusively that bumble bees can & do in fact fly. Tongue

Here ya go. Taken at Biggin Hill the following day. At least I assume it managed to fly the 100 odd miles from Yeovilton. Roll Eyes

Craig PM'd me the answer as he was at Yeovilton on the same day. Felix obviously sussed it out straight away. I'd actually forgotten what it is & had to look it up.

It's registered as a ZLIN Z.37 A-2, manufactured by LET NARODNI PODNIK KUNOVICE. Otherwise known as the Cmelak or Bumble Bee.
