Don't thank the Mods, You must bow before the almighty Gofer!
The mods spread his word and convert the unconverted to the world of inverted Spitfires........
But hey, I'll second the thanks, even if it inflates certain ego's!

2 different things here! & we're talking of the forums ...
I too thank our fine mods for keeping this place wheel side down
I do my little bit on the forums but it's the mods who deserve the credit for ensuring we have a good atmosphere & a positive air around here -
& of course we mustn't forget our many knowledgeable contributors for their fantastic input.

After that last ordeal, I will "Welcome" the Thank You
I am just glad that all of us, this entire community was able to come together and work it out. It really goes to show that even in this virtual world, feelings and emotions
will
play out.
At the end of the day, it is nice to know that this place is running smooth thanks to the leadership of Pete who makes it all happen!
We just keep all the gears moving!

Thank you everyone for the kind words regarding the moderators. it puts a smile on my face from ear to ear.
We are only human like everyone else...OK Ozzy, isnt human. Anyone that spends most of his time inverted in the sim has to be from a different planet
, so occasionally a mistake might be made, but I know we all try our best to make SIMv what it is.
And like any forum, there will be hiccups, but SIMv is one of the most friendly, helpful websites regardless of the theme behind it, that I have had the pleasure of becoming a member of, and then having the opportunity of being a moderator. There are no folks here that at the drop of a hat won't help someone in need, and that goes to prove the kindness within the site.
I love you guys!

My original post here only represents a part of what I intended to display.....I looked up and found it had shot off in mid-sentence (you'll notice the lack of "full stop.")
I too acknowledge Pete's role here, despite my low number of Posts I've been around for a long time and can remember when Pete used another name.........however I tend to be a "reader" rather than a "poster."
As such I see the usual names right thru the forums, usually helping and advising but in general keeping things ticking over. I have seen the "destroyers" come and go, this will always happen. The politically correct world we now live in will not make your jobs any easier....but please stick with it.

If my fading memory serves me correctly you were peted (or Peted) on the old
Ultraboard
forum. As a complete newbie to forums (fora?) & screen names in those days it took me quite a while to work that one out.

I don't know what else to say, other than "Thanks" to the mods.
I would also like to say, in light of the recent disaster, that the members should remember that the Mods are human too (and fallible as well)...
