Hi there,

I´d like to know, where i can get good srtm data.
So far I downloaded those from the nasa ftp
ftp://edcsgs9.cr.usgs.gov/pub/data/srtm/
But these have such big voids that there is nearly no mountain about 2000m included.
Where do all the freeware developer get their srtm´s from ?
Or do they build those mountains by hand ?!
Is there a free or commercial source to get better srtm´s ?
