Ben, helos are totally different.

When I can get a moment I will be uploading a full FS9 AI helo package - I've done the files needed for every helo I could find with wheels plus the Huey because I like it  Smiley

AI helos really need wheels because they taxi like other AI aircraft.

Anyone with the right knowledge could do it but it seems crazy to repeat the work when I've already got it completed.

The list of helos includes

CH-47 Chinook
Ch-46 Vertol
CH-53 Pavelow
Hawk
Dauphin
Eurocopter AS332
Sea Dragon
Sea Stallion
CH-34 Choctaw
Merlin
Westland Whirlwind
S-61
Agusta A109

I've got a couple of odd ones still to look at (eg MILs). I've produced completely new FDEs for all which (ahem  Embarrassed ) I prefer to any of the others I've tried. Also have still got to get a couple of permissions where I've created new textures - although I guess I could release a package of just the FDEs without.

Sounds Great Rollerball, looking forward to the AI package.

The NEMAI model works great for AI, which is from Holger Sandman's AI file.

I use it for my CH-47's, Blackhawks and other military helo's. It's as simple as swapping out the contact points and light sections

I have not got round to looking at it yet, but I think that it is all linked to the "Aircraft type" Variable in the .air file:
Press 0 for normal aircraft;
Press 1 for aircraft that AI can't use;
Press 2 for AI only aircraft;

This MAY have an effect on the helecopter's ability to take off/land vertically. I'll let you know when I've finished experimenting, and I'll probably release something, as well.
