Hey All,
I would like to learn how we can repaint aircrafts in FS 2002 Pro. I would like to know what freeware softwares, if any, are available for repainting. And if there are any tutorials for repainting. Also are there any softwares such as Photoshop or MS Paint that i can use?

I would Appreciate Replies From All

Thanks

If you can use a program to make drawings, you can repaint aircraft with it.  But you will need DXTBmp, a freeware editor that can take the textures apart.

For an indepth tutorial, check my singature.

Hey X Factor,

There are a few freeware painting programs out there, but the most popular seem to be Pixia and The Gimp. I haven't tried painting with The Gimp, but Pixia's pretty easy to use. You can use MS Paint, but it would be better to use a program that supports Layers. If you have access to Photoshop or Paintshop Pro, rather use those programs instead of the freeware programs (They have a few more features) Smiley

Gimp: http://www2.arnes.si/~sopjsimo/gimp/

Like Ender said, you will need DXTBmp to take the textures apart, you can find it here...
