Either way, United's crew still have to cross check the route so it's not really faster than having the flight stored in the FMS. But it is obviously faster than typing the route manually
I'm done in about 2 mins, most of the time less than that, but I don't look into the perfect selected temperature for de-rate, or things such as take-off position shift and Engine out in the DP etc...stuff like that aint important in FS
But just to get the IRS aligned will usually take roughly 10mins, depending on where you are (it will take longer on "high" latitudes, due to slower earth rotation)
