       I'am glad to say that i signed up to the fourm and feel really good about it too. I have been using fs2002 for some time now and would like to start making aircraft.  I was wondering if the g-max program is a good program to use to make aircraft.  Plus i need some help on the program because i dont know how to use it.

I have been using Gmax for about two years now, and it is a great program.  It takes a little while to get to understand, but once you do there is no limit to what you can do with it and FS.

There is also FSDS, which is a slightly more user friendly 3D program (think Mac vs PC) but most people I talk to have preffered Gmax since it has so many more capabilities.

In my signature is a link for the FFDS (Free Flight Design Shop) site, which has many great tutorials on creating FS aircraft with Gmax.  The tutorials provided with the program are fairly difficult to understand and perform, so I go to FFDS for anything I need to understand.

At the top of this forum there is also a thread that contains a link to the Stupid Idiot's Guide to Gmax, which is what I learned from.
