Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone here could give me a hand on texturing a couple of parts in gmax.
I have created a bambi bucket and aircraft panel  and  Have photo real textures that I have found on the net But, I am having trouble with the texturing. If someone could texture the files for me so I can look at the finished textures to see how they where done, it may help me to figure out texturing other parts of the model. If anyone can help at all please drop a an email.

Cheers

I would suggest you do the tutorials.
Texturing is a little tricky I for one do not know of a easy way to describe it. Maybe someone else does. But it is a little lenghty. The tutes were a help to me look at the one for the 3d house. It is not that hard but like I said it is a little tricky.

Rhys,

You can find the information in the Gmax Scenery SDK
here
. You can also look on the tutorial page at FSAlpha and download tutorials on developing Multi Materials for building texture templates too.

You can also go to the FSDS site.  They have several texturing tutorials.  Link in my signature.
