It's raining hard again so I've been going through the shots I took last Sunday. You've seen most of my best ones. These were taken at different times during the day.
I spotted a Dak on finals while wandering along the flight line before the show. Got this quick shot which came out rather well. With a little imagination this could be a typical sight on this airfield during WWII.
Here she is right after touching down. You can book a seat on this grand old lady to travel to some shows in style. OK if you live near Coventry. (I might give it a go next year.) Beats sitting in all those traffic jams.
The lovely little Sea Hawk.
No need for captions.
Pleasure flights still going on as I left.
Well, that about wraps up my air display season.
It's been a lot of fun & I've learned a lot. Hope you liked sharing it with me & I'll try to do better next year. Thanks for all the encouragement & kind comments over the last few months.
PS. Knowing me I might find a few more to post.

Hi Doug.
Firstly i want to say thank you for not only posting these photos but for taking the time to actually remember and select aircraft that you know specific members are fans of, to photograph. This is what? the 2nd year you have been posting photos often and i can honestly say the quality has improved 100% and that hasnt been down to just to newer cameras but the shots you took with your older camera improved dramtically over the postings. I personally cant wait till next years airshow season, and i cant wait to see what you have instore for the photo forum next.
Great selection of photos this time round aswell.

Another nice selection Doug, a lovely shot of the Dominie and a well timed shot of EP120 too...
Must book myself a seat on the Dak one day. I notice I also managed to stay cunningly just out of shot in the Sea Hawk pic too (I think I'm about 2' right of the tenty thing)

No need to encourage you more Doug, you already have what it takes in an " Aviation Heart " to be secure in the knowledge that anyone with this eye for flying things, will always be willing to share the past with the present......and for those not present, you do a wonderful job in bringing us along with you to your air displays........
............BIG THANKS ! ! !

wow I love the first one, I think I got myself a new desktop. I always wanted to see how an airfield in WWII would look like, looks real to me
Believe half of what you see, 1/4 of what you hear, and nothing that I say&&&&
