Okay, here's the facts... (I just finished his autobiography)

25 combat missions, one PR tour on return.

Tail turret gunner was injured from a '190

All crew members stayed the same with the exception of the copilot which switched off a few times. Originally James Vernis, then he was called to be an actual pilot of another B-17.
