I just heard on the grapevine that our old chum Tempest didn't make it to Duxford - again. Sad That's too bad & means it's now up to Charlie & me to keep this show on the road. Roll Eyes
I didn't do too well with the action stuff but had more luck with the ones on the ground. To start with here's some rather nice Spitfires I took specially for Ozzy. Not exactly static shots as they were moving at the time. Wink

Sadly events conspired against me this weekend and so I was unable to go to Duxford. Still, I have all your superb shots to keep me going until next year. Magic stuff Hagar.

Must be a "Friends of the Fighter Collection" promo thing for their members, seeing as none of the other Spits from other owners took passengers for the taxi down to the hold... Wink

It's possible although I've noticed that some pilots are more particular about this than others. They were taxying downwind with a strong tailwind at the time & it would be so easy to stand the aircraft on its nose. Note my last 2 shots when the same aircraft was turning crosswind. Now you see him ... now you don't. Wink

I was joking Doug Roll Eyes Wink. Forgive my weird sense of humour(?)Undecided. But seriously, you could get 4, maybe six people on that tail, 30 quid a time, hey presto 8), they'd've (is that a word?) made £180 just taxiing out to the runway Tongue !

Weird sense of humour? You have a long way to go to catch me. I've got a few years start on you. I was brought up on the Goon Show which explains a lot Tongue Grin

That sounds a pretty good idea to me. I like money-making schemes. Maybe you should suggest it to them. Wink
