Heard the news that Mount Saint Helens was once again blowing off some steam today. Decided to chance flying into the TFR area to have a little look for myself.

Ben,

I created it ... but I'm still working on it. It gives some of the effect that I want already. The problem is that a more realistic recreation is a MASSIVE amount of smoke/steam. All those effects particles have to be "tracked" by the cpu. I had it looking very real with a huge plume of steam trailing off into the distance.... but the framerates went down to a slide show Wink
