Does anyone know whether there is a Fairey Gannet out there. There are Mamba sounds available of the contra rotating props but I cannot find any aircraft ???

Thanks in anticipation Wink

Hi. I have just d/l on from Avsim and its not bad. Not too sure about the decor and maybe a patch will arrive soon to correct the wings folding when the cockpit is opened and the non-operation of the tail-hook but what the hell, it's free and looks great....but the sound ughhhh. Where can I get the Mamba files from Please?

But the new one seems to be from Mr. Ito, so it won´t have a VC.

Correct - no VC but it's not usually long before repaints/remodels come along. Now about that Mamba sound ? One thing though; it prompted me to dial in Fairey Gannet in Google and I was well impressed with trawling the results. Loved the plane [crabfat here] - I used to live in N Somerset and I assume there were some at Yeovilton as they would fly over the Mendips often - love, love, love the sound.

Sorry seb - feel a bit of a twit now  Embarrassed . Today, unusually, I was on FlightSim and it was there. I also found a SeaHawk but I haven't tried it yet.  Files are : gannet3.zip and seahawk.zip

Really pleased this thread has proved positive.

I saw Mamba sounds on Flightsim.com but do not know if they will work on the latest sims.

I doubt there'll be a fix for the canopy/wingfold, Ito's A-7 do this as well and have been around for a few months unchanged  8)

Anywho, theres been another release now theres the ASW and AEW variants  8)
