Well after our time away, we had to depart YYZ via Westjet flight 817.......brand new 737-700 with nice options ........
Before you look at the second image, take a guess at the purpose of the blister on the upper fuselage in the first image......

...

This was the reason for the blister........REAL TV......with 23 channels to choose from......nice touch when its complimentary........we even were told to keep the headsets for our next Westjet flight........
...

One channel was reserved for flight info.......as you can see, we were making good time .......Wendy and I live right under the "R" in the word NORTHWEST upper right in the image, on Vancouver Island......

Why does a Canadian airline have Canada darkened out on it's flight map?
It doesn't even show a single province.

If you look carefully, you will see that its Mapquest who has provided the map, not Air Canada........ ???

Great photos Ken. I personally love the airshow, more a fan of the standard GPS one rather than mapquest version though.
