Why throughout all the history of flight simulator have business aircraft been so overlooked??  I mean GA personal, commercial and all periods of military planes have been well represented but for some reason business aircraft have been avoided like the plague. Why is this??? Why do commercial and freeware designers by and large overlook business planes, particularly jets???  Some of the coolest to fly aircraft in the sky fall in that catagory.  Who wouldn't want to fly a Citation X or any Challenger or Gulfstream??

I doubt that you can say they're overlooked ...  Eaglesoft's Citation X is a standard setting machine and the Falcon that's out there is a good model  as well.

HOWEVER, that said, the "market"  craves overblown tin sausages and other models.

Subliminally, it may be that corporate jets are "inaccessible" to most of us, GA aircraft are as close as the nearest municipal/local airport, and commercials jets are always news/overhead.  Military aircraft of all ages are, well, attractive in their own "seat of the pants, dashing daredevil"  sort of way.

Well, we shall see how the planes in Abacus' pub's upcoming Corporate Pilot 2 are. Although, I doubt they will be the same quality for Fs9 as the first Corporate Pilot release for FS2000 was.  The bar is a lot higher now and Abacus have gone over to simple add-ons aimed for the casual user that end up on Game Stop's/Babbages discount rack for months.  You have some valid points but resourceful designers do have means to learn about the biz planes. Flying Magazine does thourogh reviews full of cockpit pics and I'm sure that the manufacturers' websites (gulfstream, bombadier, dassault, cessna etc.) have very detailed product information available.  I tell you, a PMDG or Pheonix or Flight1 level G550 or Dassault 7x or 2000 would sell equally well as any airbus or boeing and they are equally challenging and satisfying to master and fly.
