Hi
I have Norton Antivirus Professional 2004 and it seems to have a conflict with my Soundblaster sound card.  The problem is that Antivirus is always disabled.  I have delited all the sound card drivers and antivirus works perfectly, but there is no sound.  is there any way to fix this??

My sound card is Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS

And yes, i have all the latest drivers, and i have checked the norton web page with no luck.

If you already checked with Norton then I would recomend a email to Creative to see if there are any known issues, I haven't experianced this but I also don't use Norton.

Psst cableguy..YANK NORTONS'!!!
It's the worst piece of software out there, weather it's the antivirus or the whole SystemWorks package.(sorry to rant & rave, but I HATE NORTONS..just my humble opinion.) My advice is,go down to your local pc store, and for about $40,pick up a copy of SystemSuite 5 from Ontrack. After you buy & install it,disable the antivirus and then download AVG Free Edition from http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/.
You do have to register to get updates, but other than that ,it's 100% free.
