Fantastic day out. Cheesy Not been to a display at Biggin for many years. I've seen some great shows this season but this was quite the best yet. The weather wasn't brilliant but the rain held off. This makes up for yesterday. Wink

Never seen so many different aircraft in one place in my life. Shocked One or two I've never seen before. I didn't know which one to point the camera at next. It'll take me a week to sort them all out. Here's a few to go on with. There was so much going on I've only got room for 1 shot of each.

The Dutch Air Force F-16 opened the show with a bang. Immaculate display as usual. Wink

Did you ever see anything like this? The glider is still on tow.
...

Now he's off. Unfortunately only one smoke canister was working.
...

Woohoo. Look what showed up. The Sea Fury is already here. Grin
...

The Butterlies. Only 2 today. This is both girls' last performance.
...

The inevitable Harrier. Still the biggest crowd-pleaser. If he didn't show up there would be a riot.
...

Wow. This brings back some memories.
...

Look out, the Army's here. Army Air Corps Historic Flight with the Blue Eagles display team tagging on behind.
...

PS. I only got back a couple of hours ago. Resizing this lot was a bit of a rush job. The quality might not be too great but I just had to post them before going to bed.

Great shots,Hagar. Number four is really outstanding from a study standpoint.

I have not been able to get to an airshow this year (except for our annual thunder over Louisville). Even missed the Dayton show after swearing that i would'nt.

Clear skies,
Paul

Sorry Bones. It's actually the first time I've seen him this year.

Yes he rolls continually along the display line. Then releases with a flick roll. I think he's the only glider display pilot to do this in the world.  The glider is a Polish design named the Fox. It's specially designed for aerobatics. I'll find more details later.

Of course I don't mind. Wink
