The "Biz Jet with missiles" is actually a  Dassault Falcon 20F with underwing electronic warfare emitters.

I used to work on quite similar aircraft in 414 (EW) Sqdn of the CAF. Smiley

You have a digital camera so if someone gets in the way you can easily delete it & take another one. Big air displays are not the ideal place to get decent static shots. You need a lot of patience to get the one you want. The best thing is to get there early & head for the static park before the punters arrive. If you can't get a clear shot make a feature of the people in it. I've found this can give some idea of the atmosphere of the place.

I've found that generally if I tap someone on the shoulder and ask politely for them to step aside they usually do.  It's a major Faux Pas to interfere with someone's picture and most folks want to help...

You obviously haven't been to a UK air show. There's so many people with cameras these days it's almost impossible not to get in someone's way. Then there's the type of person who stands there for hours admiring every rivet or deliberately walks right in front of you just when you're about to press the button. This is worse with that rare aerial shot & it happens to me all the time.

I don't have much trouble with static shots as I'm prepared to wait my chance or come back later. If all else fails I have a chat with the owner or pilot. Then ask if I can take his photo in front of his beautiful aeroplane. If they're not busy this usually works a treat as they move everyone out of the way for you. Wink
