I rented a few movies on DVD last night (I just got a hi-fi after not having one for 12 months - so I needed to hear that stereo DVD quality again!!).
Among the inevitable Star Trek and WWII Movies and Doco's I came across "Things to Come", an old movie directed by Korda.
This script (I think it may have come from a book) was written by Wells prior to 1939, but the scenes showing the '1940' bombing of London are 'eerily' like those you see in doco's of the Blitz etc.
If I didn't know better, I'd say he was in cohoots with Hitler, so his "Time Machine" and "Things To Come" could turn out to be right (about the dates etc).
Seriously though, it's really spooky how this bloke could have been so accurate.
