Hi Craig, good to see you.
Nice photos, looks like the weather wasn't that great though...

Carefeful Ken. Leuchars is in Scotland. Wink

I just got back from Yeovilton. Now that IS in England - I think Zummerzet was in England last time I checked. Roll Eyes

It could have been worse but the weather was not ideal. I'll post a few shots later. I'm keen to know how Craig got on.

PS, Today was the first time I've seen the Red Arrows this year.

Hey guys.

I've been rather busy of late.

School work, doing a PPL, driving lessons...don't have much time for other things especially with the ATC as well. Grin

Yeah, Leuchars is the most northerly fighter base in Britain. Wink  On this subject, there was a GR.4 at Prestwick Airport yesterday...it was lined up on Runway 31, but wasn't given clearance to takeoff because I was on final for a touch and go on 21.  The turbulence would've blown us away! Cheesy

It didn't rain at the airshow and it cleared up a lot later on, but it was nearly 4 before it was clear...it was too windy for the BBMF to fly... Roll Eyes

Did you know the AEF Tutors are grounded to cadets right now?  The props fell off two during the summer while they were taxying. Shocked

I heard something about it during the Eastbourne air show. They weren't allowed to display them either. They must have fixed it cos we saw them at the Shoreham RAFA show 2 weeks later.

We still don't get to fly them.  Our squadron's got a slot for November, so maybe they're just waiting to be declaed airworthy for cadets still? ???

Erm...a Kyocera Finecam S4 4megapixel...3x optical and 2x digital zoom.

Nice wee digital thing, but the battery doesn't last too long and the quality is crap when it goes on to digital zoom. Wink

Nice pics.

It was a good day out, but it is getting worse each year, the amount of big static planes was a bit disappointing. It would have been good to see some different aircraft up aswell, instead of the same planes over and over.

I'll edit some of my photos and post a topic a bit later.

Scott.
