Hi,

I looking for the code line to edit my default minipanel (pressing "w") to add the F16 radar gauge on the top-left corner (so i can use it with any aircraft). Does anybody could help me with this ? For the moment, when i add it in the default panel.cfg the gauge is transparent...
Thanks for your help !

No answers yet?  I'm afraid the answer may be "you can't".

I believe f16.gau is a transparent gauge and won't show up without a background.  I tried something like this once before with the same result.

I hope someone else can figure this out, though, as it sounds really neat.

If you can't get it to work this way, and if it's a popup window, you can still see it in minipanel view by by hitting Shift2, Shift3, etc.  until it pops up in its original position.

PS - I assume you know how to edit the minipanel file, it sounds like you do.

Could you add a panel background to the default file?  You know, something with just a small patch of gray where you could throw the gauge when it comes up?

I have tried editing the mini panel.cfg that is in the ACFT/default/panels folder with no luck yet.

I have manually added the mini panel to my acft. in their own panel.cfg and have been playing with that. So far, no luck.

I have however added the radar to most of my acft. by using just a correctly sized "No Bitmap" panel and placing the gauge on top of that.

But, for my final solution, for me, I added an old bit map that I redid. Use to use this bitmap for my older Nav. Panels I made for CFS2.
Unfortunately, you have to add this to each acft. of your choice. But once added it is just a simple matter of placing the bit map in the panel folder and then copy and paste a few lines. Cool
