I have just started palying with afcad but there are several airfields i want to add more detail (runways, aprons etc.) but i know at present autogen scenery is populating the area, is there a method to cut out autogen in the area your working with. All airports seem to have a 'grassy area' surrounding them where no autogen can be found, is it possible to 'create' some sort of zone around the airfields ? thanks in advance.

the easiest way using FS9 and AF2 is to increase the width of the taxiway selected to cover the desired area. by adding taxiway by taxiway one could (conceivably) cover the entire planet.

Thanks for the replies, so if you lay down 'taxiways' this will 'cut out' any other scenery?

To remove any autogen scenery, one needs to use an exclude file. In the tutorial for AFCAD2 it is mentioned and you can find more info and how to make an exclude file at the M$ web site.
