If I remember right, most "spiders" are actually almost microscopic. So, it could be true-who knows.

Or under your house. I don't know where you live-but if its in a standard house (meaning no basement) then you probably only a few above the actual ground. There are probably a bunch on small creatures just under the soil-undoubtly many are spiders.

Agreed, spiders are cool. They do more good than you think.

WHAT?!
Beatings will be administered. Administered I tell you!
The only creatures I can't stand and kill on sight are 'Skeeters and Roaches. I usually leave spiders on their merry way.
I only hate American Roaches tho'. I had a Madagascan Hissing cockroach. I often relate it to the feline of the insect world. They regularly bathe themselves (although all insects do) and are quite docile. I also learned they're nocturnal. For the longest time I thought my pet roach was dead or dying, but every day I awoke I found my pet in a different heading or level (I made multiple "floors" for the cage I had him/her) and one late night, whilst reading, I heard a scratching. Turned out to be Mr. Roach crawling about the cage.
I don't know what it is about American Roaches that makes them so gross. Madagascan Roaches, are... nice.
The Devil's Advocate.
