My FS9 can no longer load or save flights.  Somehow the path to the Flight Simulator files has become lost?? for lack of a better word.  Anyone have that happen to them and have a cure?

JFM,

This may not apply.... but I had this kind of issue at one point when I created a new "account" in Win XP to fly fs2004 with.  I decided to create a new "stripped" account to use that had everything pretty much shut down.... no wallpaper and XP run in bare bones mode and so on.

Up tikl then, I had been flying fs2004 since the release in my "normal" login to WinXP..... and manually shutting things down beofre I flew it.

When I went to fly in the new "identity"....... I got just the kind of error you are describing.  I had to create a new flight file under the new identity.  If I remember correctly... I also had to copy over my fs9.cfg file from the other identity to the new one.

Maybe there's a hint in there somewhere to your issue.  Don't know.   Sorry no one has responded for a long time.  Figured I'd take a "stab" at it.

best,

..................john

I got my saved flights figured out.  Now the problem I have is that the FS supplied Flights and those saved by the computer "recent" "autosave" etc. do not appear in the boxes when I click on Flights on the mani page of FS9.  The boxes are empty.  If I click on Flights that page shows up and then the program freezes because it can't locate these files.  I can't find a cfg file that deals with Flights.
