Well one of the An-2s from the local field was doing his kill-the-mosquito-spray-run, now I'm not saying he was low or anything, and my dear Coolpix 3100 only has a 3x zoom, but these pictures aren't bad at all...
As seen from the kitchen window...
The best photo (I think, you can actually see her spraying
)
Return run (great view over the park and the flats opposite from my balcony, and yup he was only a few meters above the roof of the flats opposite)
Messed up the timing a little on this, but it shows how noisy an An-2 is at 20 meters or so
Somebody soiled their feathers

Very nice Mark. I love that last shot. LOL
I hope you weren't downwind of it. Although a good friend of mine ran the local cropspraying outfit I never trusted this spraying lark.

Still, I wish I had thoes than the stupid dump truck that go behind my house at all hours.
I've never seem one in flight. I did see it at this year's aviation expo. The plane has seen better days and was leaking lots of oil.
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.

I've just taken the rubbish down and there is a large splat on the drivers door. I'm just going to clean the airpistol and reduce the bird population numbers
Oh and Stephen if you come to Hungary there are simply loads of An-2s and Zlins as they are the most popular kites here. I'll try and get over to the local airfield one weekend and get some snaps

Now this would be a welcome vista for us to all peruse.....not all of us get to see varying A/C on a daily basis..........last AN-2 I saw fly, was about four yrs ago......
........closest thing to rare for me, is the two Martin Mars I see from time to time....
