Don't think so. Main reason is that most heli flights are very local so you don't have route networks or flights over longer distances.

I've created files for every heli I can find that has wheels on (reason - although you can make em fly OK, I've got a great Huey for example, helis with skids look pretty stoopid when they taxi) and nothing hanging off it (eg Dirk Fassbender has some excellent Eurocopters but they make poor AI as they have long cables with buckets hanging down). I'll probably upload em so people can then create their own flight plans in areas where they like to fly.

Personally I think having helis around is great.

BTW my list includes

CH-46 twin rotor
CH-53/MH-53 Sea Stallion, Sea Dragon, Pave Low
CH-34 Choctaw
Dauphin
Hawk
Huey
Merlin
Puma
S-61 with retractable and fixed gear
Whirlwind
and others

sounds great

email me when you have it going I'll love to test it or something...

what program do you plan on using with it ?

AI helicopters would be nice at places like hawai or offshore areas like the north sea, or grand canyon ??

thanx

Search 'ai helicopters'

These FS2002 packages will probably work fine in FS2004

Not necessarily ???

Firstly, if they are the Holger Sandman ones, when I looked he hadn't cracked the problem of blades almost stopping rotating when engine slows eg on final approach. I have (and he might have done as well now as he does great work)

Also, if they are 2002 helis, bits might be missing in 2004. I did a very nice Alouette but in flight, bits of the model disappear.

Not sure about the blades stopping on approach - but the heli's should be OK as Holger concentrated on GMax models for these packages ....

Hmmm... the Alouette I had problems with is called Alouette_3_Gmax so it looks as though it's no guarantee, Pete
