Well, I know I've posted shots of my cars before-but since this thread was started I guess I'll do it again.   Wink

Here is my 1996 Chevy Camaro T-Top, with a 3.8L V6.  Its not really fast but its quick enough for my driver-its gets me to school and back.   Grin
...

This is my 1969 Chevy Camaro Coupe 350.  It has a nice 350ci V8 engine under the hood which currently puts out about 275hp.  I plan on replacing the engine when more money comes my way, but for now-I'll be driving it the way it is on nice days.   8)

Aye, but thats going no where fast. What with having an engine that was condemned 50,000 miles ago and broken suspension.

fozzer the sad fact is, richies cars are nothing compaired to what i have seen some kids driving round in. No offense richie. But for instance when i was at the college in the US for a test this one girl no older than 18 drove off in a 2003 corvette. I dont know how they get the money for the insurance and i dont understand why their parents allow them to drive such cars but like you said, they sure wouldnt get insurance over here

Here's my little rollerskate outside the old company HQ. A 1995 Mazda 323 GLX 3-door Auto. Just over 50,000 genuine miles on the clock. I've had it since it was 3 months old. Reliable & ecomomical to run which is important to me. Nippy too. Surprisingly big inside, in fact it can carry more than some estate cars. Never let me down in all that time. I can get all my R/C models in it with room to spare. I've done 2 trips to Old Warden & one to Duxford in it over the last 2 weekends. Wink

...

If I had to change it I would get another one just like it.

PS. I don't know how long this thread will last. If it's not over the image limit already it's getting close to it.

Actually, if you asked the insurance company...my dad is the "main driver" on the '96.   Wink Wink Wink  Of course, I'm insured to drive it-but he is supposed to be driving it daily-but I haven't had one ticket or wreck so I'm doing fine.

The '69 is a little different.  It's insured on a special policy as a "collector car" which gets rarely driven (I think I'm allowed a maximum of 7000 miles a year-I've only driven it about 500 miles since I got it a year ago).  As a result, the insurance on it is very cheap (I think like $140 per year).

Thats true.  It's amazing what some kids drive over here-if your parents have a lot of money and your a spoiled child-you can get a new Corvette, thats not uncommon.  My cars are a little higher end than most people my age (few kids own a classic car)-but my '96 is nothing unusual.  The '96 consider a "nice" car by my friends-but nothing amazing.

Where do they get the money from?

The most exotic cars at my school are a Porsche 944 and a Jeep Wrangler.

Here be my toy... A '77 Ford Ranchero GT (No... Its not an El Camino) It's currently in storage until I can afford (and find the needed parts) for it's restoration.

...

Anyone got a right front fender and right door for a 77 Ranchero or LTD II???

My regular ride is a 94 T-Bird LX V-8
