...like Stratobat says...

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Gaming Options >

Your controller should be listed there, and the "Status" should say "OK".
Then going to "Properties" and "Settings" will allow you to test it and set up the forces, etc,...

If the "Status" says "Not Connected", then you have got some work to do... Wink...!

Cheers... Grin...!

Paul.

If your using Win 98, there's a good chance that you will need to install the drivers for the stick also.

Also go into the Settings tab in FS 2002 and check that the Enable Joystick tickbox is ticked.

Mantab,

Have you installed the Drivers?

Unplug the joystick before you install the Drivers though, then restart and plug in the stick, you should then be able to see if it's connected in the Control Panel.

Hi Mantab ,
I have a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro and worked great in FS98 with Windows 98 .  It was peculiar to set up and had to set it for each game somehow .  I changed over to windows XP and another PC and it would not work at all .  I  finally found that it needed to be plugged into the USB port rather than the gameport and it accepted it and it worked fine .  Didn't even have to use the CD like I did in W98 .  It did the necessary installation all by itself .

Hope this is of some help .

Jamie
