It's already devastated Grenada. Beautiful island. I was there in late 2000. My heart goes out to them. Looks like it's going to clip the ABC Islands as well which is quite odd. They don't usually get hurricanes. It also looks like it may hit Florida. Sucks to live there. That would be the third one it three weeks. It's cat 5 too which is the strongest there is.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. So, I guess now you'll want photos from ground level as it's passing through?

I just saw this movie called The Day After, with Dennis Quaid.  Although the movie itself is pretty unrealistic, but shows how awsome and destructive weather can be.  Even here in Washington state we got some small tornados this summer, and it is very rare that we would get a tornado.

It sucks, but sometimes we are at the mercy of mother nature and what ever it can stir up.

I remember those tornadoes, one touched down 20 miles away from where I am. It seems like the climate/weather has been a little strange lately...It was 85 degrees here one day in the middle of March! And not to mention the thunderstorms that kinda appear out of nowhere  Shocked

We have had that here as well...Its been a rough summer with almost 40 tornados in one night just in Indiana.  As well as the storms that spawned them appearing out of no where.  Things have been relitively calm for the past few weeks but for awhile it was tornado sirens nonstop.  I definatly agree that the weather patterns this year have been very strange and unusual...

As for Ivan... Does anyone know the projected path if it gets into Florida?... I have grandparents and great grandparents in Ft. Myers... They did ok in Charley but Ivan seems to be much much worse Sad

Nice picture though Wink
