the flames that come out of a jet engine. in fact it's just fuel that's vapored inside the nozzle. because of the tremendous heat of the engine exhaust, the fuel ignites and creates alot of extra thrust (and visible flames). of course, the fuel consumption will rise as hell.  Wink
