Hi yall... does anyone know what happened to fsfsconv? I used to have it on a previous install of fs2k2 but now I can't seem to find it.... at least not on simviation (I've seldom needed to go elsewhere to find what I've needed).

Cheers,
Rivanwood/Gary

Hi Gary. There is no FSFS Converter for FS2002. This was intended purely for installing FS5 aircraft to FS98, CFS1 & FS2000. Many 3rd party designers aliased the panels of their FS98/2000 aircraft to the fsfsconv folder for convenience. If you use aircraft designed for FS2002 you don't need it.

Strangely enough the fsfsconv folder is included with FS9. Roll Eyes

fsfsconv is really just another folder.  You can create it yourself.

It was used as a common folder to hold and share panels and sounds with multiple aircraft through use of the "alias" statement in the panel or sound.cfg's.

Simply create the folder, move a panel or sound folder to it, and then alias your aircraft to it.  It works the same as it did in FS2000. Smiley
