What type of gauge do you have in mind ?

You can extract, edit and replace the bitmaps in most existing gauges to alter their "look" and even how the respond. That method has served just about every gauge need of mine. When push comes to shove, you can make one from scratch coding XML and making custom bitmaps.

Im thinking about using a bitmap from the bell206B!Fuel_Valve aircraft but changing the function from fuel cutoff to turning on the battery. But just changing the bitmap from an alternater switch to the different swich would ruin the animation wouldn't it?

the guage is an .gua so is it edited with XML?

I also wan't to learn to do it for future refference
