Any idea how to create start points, rather than just having the runways, for a new airfield in FSSC?

I am having problems with starting points also. In another direction. Try this create a runway where you want the Spawn point to be then click dont show runway in the box provided. I think that when you compile the scenery you will have a spawn point on an invisible runway. I would check it but the adware I have picked up coming to this site with M$explorer is slowing my machine down to a crawl. Hope this helps

Have you tried using a Menu Entry?
Right Click anywhere in FSSC and look for
New Misc. Object
and then
Menu Entry
.
In the Menu Entry box that appears, put a name like Tarmac in the Name field and then place it on the tarmac, that should allow you to start there when selecting the Airport in FS/CFS.

Why not just create the airfield and then use AFCAD to edit the start points and taxiway info?

Thats the longer term solution once I have completed the project. I wanted to concentrate on learning FSDS and FSSC before trying AFCAD and adding A1 traffic etc. This is my first project and the learning curve has been pretty steep. Still trying to master night textures, lighting to name a few.
Thanks for your thoughts.
