Completely made from scratch and starting with a blank document and the paint tools.

Thanks
Well I was origionaly trying to edit a couple FS screenshots I had saved to a disk and taken with me... But after having some problems and getting stressed out I gave up on the screenies and started playing in photoshop with a X+ I made on a blue background... After messing around with different filters and such i came up with this peice that my teacher acualy wants me to print off and enter in some contest. So one good thing came out of that rather stressful and boring morning.

I am looking at it and by any chance did that use the exstrude fillter, see I know I am right as I just idd something like it but not as good as it (only took me about 2 min) and it has sorta the same effect but as I said not as good!
I would think that would be quite hard to make it to a screen saver!

I did use the exstrude filter at the end. as for the different colors there were 6 diferent layers to create them. After merging them all togather the Exstrude filter finished it to what it is now. I think it only took me 20 minutes to fully complete... i plan on some more experimenting in my free time... As for its current stage it sounds like my teacher is having me print it out and send it to some contest near here.

A) I'd call it "Death of a star" or "The End".
B) Could I have a 1280*960 copy of it?

Not sure what to call it but i think im might borrow one of those
And if you want a copy i dont mind...
Just as long as it is not uploaded anywhere else. There is a hidden copyright in the picture. Nearly imposible to find unless you know where to look.

I emailed it out the other day. I hope it was OK. I had to keep it at 800-600 because it was origianaly done at that size and expanding it just distorted it.
And if anyone happens to know of any Online graphic art contests i would be glad to here of them... Ive been looking around but have not had any luck.
Thanks,

Sorry, but 800*600 is too small for me, 'cause I keep my windows desktop at 1280*960.

I got a little behind but I just emailed it. Your acualy getting a slightly diferent version due to my accidental overright of the origianal. The only difference is the contrast. I almost like this new one better. I also have another freehand piece i did over the past couple days. If I can get the file size down enough and still keep the quality ill post it here in awhile
Thanks,
Triple_7
