Is it possible to see actual ai planes in the sky? All I see is a little dot with a sign above it.

Not only can you see them but it is possable to run into them in mid flight as well.
If you want to see one you have to be close or use binoculars Grin
If you ever get bored try jumping into the default B747 and go chasing AI aircraft. It breaks up the monotny.
And it is a challange it is not easy to hit a cessna 172 with a B747 as you think it  would be . 8)

One of the fun things in this business is just sitting in your plane just off the active runway at busy airports and watching the planes come 'n go. turn on both tower & ground frequencies on your radio & enjoy
