I liked the photos in the "More Warbirds" thread, so here are my shots taken last March at Tyabb near Melbourne in Victoria Australia.
Supermarine Spitfire Mk VIII:
CAC Mustang, VH-SVU:
CAC Boomerang:
6 CAC Mustangs and 1 NA built Mustangs, this is all the airworthy Mustangs in Australia!
Oh, and lastly, STANDING near a runway threshold you may have to duck occaisionally!!!!!!!
Hope you enjoy the pics!!!

Fantastic Guru. Very nice indeed.
That last shot is incredible. Not sure even I would chance standing that close.

Lovely stuff, I especially like Grey Nurse, one of the finest looking flying Spits in the world 8)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Thanks guys, the comments are really appreciated.
The formation of Mustangs was just simply stunning to see! Mind you just behind the Mustangs were the Boomerang & Spitfire, then 2 T-28's, 5 Harvards & another 3 odd Yak 52's.........
I have the flypast on Video (DVD cam camcoder) & yeah the sound of 7 merlins = drool material.
The only thing that was Missing was P-40N VH-KTI, but the P-40's were not left out as there is a P-40F in the hangar that was behind the Spitfire in the photo above:
Ozzy, not sure where ya are in Aust, but if you get the chance, I'd pop over to Wangaratta in Vic, where VH-KTI is based as there is not only that P-40, but 3 more under restoration, plus 5 P-39's, a Vought Kingfisher & two Douglas Bostons.........
One more for ya mate
