Congo,

I am surprised at the feedback rating....... from the add I would have said "too good to be true".  Which ..... usually is.  Wink

If this is "up and up" ................that is beyond a fantastic deal.  3 hours to go and still cheap.  Maybe at the last minute it'll get bid up a lot.

Thanks for posting this.

best,

..................john

Its up to £235 now with half hour to go.  Card costs about £300 new so a good saving still!

I payed about £250 for my Ultra (What a bargain!) hehehe.  Shame it isn't a 6800GT though, that card has more pipes and overclocks good.

Have seen mods done to 800pros though.  You can unlock all 16pipes (Bit fiddley but works on some cards) then clock it, the results are quite good too.

£305.44 - which is exactly what I paid for an "OEM" version of the same card 5 weeks back, when building a system for a friend.

And in 2 months time, it'll be a shedload cheaper!!!! Wink

That's not too bad even for here. That's about $600 but they have been selling for close to $700. I'm still patiently waiting for the Geforce 6600 though. Only one more month.  Wink

The Processor was overclocked (220 fsb instead of 200) but the cards standard!

Its clocked 13640 with "coolbits" but I found Far Cry was'nt happy, the machine seems to respond better to RAM and CPU tweaks the card will benchmark higher I'm sure, but I think it possibly needs later drivers, apparently, 6800GT's are much happier to overclock with the new 65.73 series forceware drivers its difficult to be sure, the pc has gone to its owner and he's happy with the way it is as the URL above shows.

Good news is standard my CPU is 2210.  I used the memory dividers (made the system run crap) but I was able to clock my CPU up to 2530! and it ran stable  Grin  Need someone to buy my old bundle of bits to fund new ram  Grin more speeeeeed gimme gimme  Grin

There's also a new beta Forceware, 66.00. It gave me a 200 point boost in 3dMark01 but FS2004 studdered like mad with them. I'm going to downgrade to the 65s.  I think the 66s are ment for the Geforce 6600 and 6800s.
