Hi all....just loaded up 2004 after a long lay off from '98 and finding it all soooo.... different. Shocked
  A couple of (maybe) silly questions please to get me moving......first "What is FS9?" and also I have tiny red printing ...cessna..etc moving around in my airspace...I suspect these should be small graphics but not sure.
Lots more to ask but maybe one or two of you guys could help me to get of the ground  Grin

FS9 is the 9th edition of Flight Simulator, in other words FS2004 Grin
The tiny red print is the IDs and altitudes of AI aircraft Wink

2) There are no "dumb" questions, we all start out at one time or another. If you look at some I have asked you should have no worries Grin

3) FS9 is just a short and easy way to say Microsoft Flight Simulator-A Century of Flight Wink

Yep those are AI aircraft. Just like yours except without panels or VCs. If you are coming into FS2004 from a much earlier version of MSFS then you might not have seen the AI aircraft. I got into flight simming with FS2002 so they've always been there for me. Just wait until a 747 tries to race your Cessna to the runway.  Shocked Shocked Grin You can even crash into them if you have that option activated.

ATC is there also to keep you seperated but it doesn't work very well. A big improvement over the one in FS2002 but it still stinks so you just have to watch out for yourself.  Grin
