I may be looking in the wrong forum but you don't seem to see many posts on helicopters. Maybe because they are so difficult to master in the sim. I know you can turn down the difficulty factor but it wouldn't be the same. I've also installed one or two files which dampen down the sometimes eratic flight dynmamics but again I feel I'm cheating. Well I've persevered with my unconvential heli control stick (yoke) and rudder pedals and flying these aircraft is just a great experience particularly if you have some good VFR scenery.
Does anyone know if there are any weather files which would create updraft and downdraft wind conditions which would make things even more interesting because I do much of my flying in Canada BC and Austria/Swiss. Also I'm looking for alternative heli panels, can anyone point me to good heli sites.
Cheers guys.

Actually you need to turn the reality down just a little. About one notch should do. Reality slider set full to the left is just a little beyond true especially for the helos. You also want your stick and controls turned up all the way. Lots of people make the mistake of turning control input down for helo flying when you need just the opposite.
If you want to learn to fly the helos right then use the link afi0yz posted or try Hoversafe. They are both virtual helo schools with lesson plans and all you need to learn to fly the FS helos like a pro.
