I sent a PM to Pete regarding this but I know how busy he is Tongue so I will put it here for other input too.
I want to download my tile of Stephen Rothlisberger's FS2004/FS2002/FS2000 70m Global Terrain Mesh, Which is EB90, ftp://63.217.28.218/terrain2/EB90N48W011.zip. I browse with Mozzila Firefox or IE5, and I have to download with Leechget 2004. This is because I have a 3.4Kbps connection wich gets terminated every hour! Cry  I can connect to said download with Mozzila, but heres the Leechget log of the download:

Quote:
Getting size of ftp://63.217.28.218/terrain2/EB90N48W011.zip

< 220 ProFTPD 1.2.8 Server (Simviation File Server 2) [MC100517]

< 331 Anonymous login ok, send your complete email address as your password.
> PASS *******
< 230 Welcome to the Simviation FTP Server
> CWD /terrain2/
< 550 /terrain2/: Permission denied
Reason: Download aborted (Position: 0)
Reason: 426 Operation aborted., 550

Does this mean anything to anyone, and what can be done about it?
Thanks very much, Dan G  Grin

Dan - it looks like this utility is trying to gain anonymous FTP access to our server - which will not work.

Can I suggest you try another download utility?

There are many freeware options available - see here for some examples -

Pete - Still having problems.

...

I have downloaded Free Download Manager Version 1.0 Build 194 and that is the 'Create new download' window. I start it and get a stream of Extended errors. I can still open the d/l in IE5. If I need a username  / password can you PM me them?
Thanks,
Dan
