Lovely photos Lemoncat, I am always amazed at just how large the Skyraider is
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Splendid stuff. That Skyraider is the former TFC aircraft and was always a regular at Duxford shows. Did they get "Sally B", "Friday the Thirteenth" and "Micky the Moocher" together on the flight line as hoped?

I've always hoped that one day in the future my pension will allow me to purchase a Skyraider, a nice blue one with several seats (not the single seat variety...). Maybe her indoors might let me have a two seat Hunter too...
Maybe not...

And that heavens that it didn't get sold abroad...
I still remember the first time I saw it display at North Weald Fighter Meet in 1995. That was the same display they had the 2 DB powered 109s.... Awesome
