If not a good VC than at least a primitive one.  Its good for a visual reference especially in combat when in padlock mode.  That way I can tell for sure where my opponent is in relation to my aircraft (if I can see my own wing or tail etc).  Or if no VC then put in an "8 sided" panel.

i agree totally with jimclarke, the main thing is that there´s a VC in anyway. it makes the simulation more realistic, and landings are MUCH easier with a VC!

Most definately.  I enjoy not being able to tell if I am in the 2D cockpit or the VC. Grin  Bill Lyons Tiger Moth for example... the VC looks better than the 2D.
