I have had some problems with starting my fligth sim, but now it is running after re-install of DirectX. My problem now is that, first of all it it starts up in a flight not the menu as it used to. My other problem is that all my planes is missing the 2d panel. I can look out and use the VC. but I do not have the 2d panel. Any ideas how I can solve this, without re-install?

PS. I can see all the panel files is there.

For starters I'd just try deleteing your fs9.cfg file and letting the sim create a new one which it does automatically.

You might have to redo your joystick assignments plus re-enter settings like old_modules and the like in the cfg file if you have put them in but that's a small price to pay if it works.

Thanks now it start up correct. But my 2d panels are still missing. It is funny because when I move my mouse over the where the panel should be. I can see the mouse tip pops up. I can also use the mouse. but I only have black screen where the panel should be. the VC copit works fine.

One more thing...if I undock the panel it shows up.

Hi

I did have the same problem, but after I run it in the "Safe mode"  I got the 2D panel back.
Hope it works for you.

Have you updated your drivers?  The missing panel is very common, and the remedy is an update of your video card drivers.
