Hi Everyone,
I have a major problem that i need help with.
I installed fs real time version 1.65.1 on Friday and could not understand how to set it up via the options/settings, so i deleted it and installed the latest version file no 146883 only to get message ERROR.COULD NOT LOAD INTIALIZATION.
SET UP CANNOT CONTINUE WITHOUT FIRST UNINSTALLING FS REAL TIME.
When i tride to remove it from the add or remove programme i got exactly the same message.
So you can see im stuck. Embarrassed

You might have wanted to uninstall instead of deleteing the program. If you have not emptied the recycle bin restore the program than uninstall it. If you have allready taken out the trash you might try to uninstall it any way. If you are using windows xp try to restore back before you uninstalled the program You might get lucky. Or try to reinstall the program.
If none of this helps you might have a serious problem, you might have to to a complete system restore if you are using windows ME or earlier. Windows XP does not come with restore CD'S you should be able to go back in time far enough to correct the problem.
ALWAYS CHECK TO SEE IF A PROGRAM CAN BE REMOVED BEFORE DELETING IT.
If you are using ME or XP make a restore point before you change anything then proceed this is a good practice to follow.
Lots of luck I certainly hope you do not have to completly restore your system I know that can be a big headache.

Try installing it again then use the "Add/Remove Programs" utility to uninstall it.

Do not feel to bad I can plead guilty of deleting a prog when it should have been removed instead. After using the old windows system one forgets that the new window systems tie programs together in ways you would not even think of. All I did was to delete a bitmap file and caused complete all kinds of problems.

You may have deleted the files, or uninstalled it, but it is still in your registry.  You have to go into the registry and delete the files from there.  Go to the Microsoft website and look up deleting files from the registry.  There should be a help file that will let you know how to get into it and delete the proper files.  Make sure you read carefully, so that you don't delete something important by accident.

I had to do this once with a Lago product.  I deleted the folder by accident and went to reinstall, but it still thought it was installed in the registry. Grin

AHH CODERED does have a idea that is one way around the problem. Just be carefull not everyone feels comfortable messing with the registry. If you do not know what you are doing you can really make a big mess in a hurry. But it is not that difficult to edit it as long as you follow the instructions.

If the program still shows up in the add remove menu You have not removed the right file from the registry yet.
Also try the uninstall after you corrected the registry it might let you remove the entry sometimes it will give you a option to do this. You will get a message saying that the program is no longer there do you want to remve the entry. Just click yes and your back in buissness. Only problem is that this option is not always available.
